Last Friday we attended the CIPD Wales Awards 2019 to recognise outstanding individuals and teams as the best in the Wales’ HR industry.
The ceremony was held at the iconic City Hall in Cardiff and hosted by the equally iconic Carol Vorderman who was fantastic and kept the audience engaged all evening.
Human Resourcing have been long standing supporters of the awards having sponsored a category every year since it’s inauguration 3 years ago. This year was no different, we sponsored the category for Best Talent Management which recognises creative and effective talent attraction, retention and management strategies.
There was no doubt that the standards of this year’s entries were exceptionally high and a true testament to incredible talent we house here in Wales.
The finalists for Best Talent Management were Creditsafe Group, NHS Wales Finance Academy, The ONS and S A Brain; all of which should be extremely proud of the work they’re doing attract, retain and develop their talented employees.
Winners of the Best Talent Management Award were S A Brain, for their “Growing our own Talent” initiative. We’d like to say a huge congratulations to the Brain’s team!
It was a pleasure to be part of these prestigious awards and to support the amazing work done by CIPD Wales. The HR industry in Wales continues to innovate and use fresh approaches to ensure it stays at the top of its game.
