Person Specification
Qualifications/Knowledge (essential)
- Educated to Masters level in a relevant subject or equivalent practical experience in a Workforce and OD environment Evidence of continuing professional development
- Membership of Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development
- Expert knowledge of workforce issues and the terms and conditions which govern workforce.
Experience (essential):
- Leadership experience of Workforce/HR Teams
- Expert knowledge of workforce issues and the terms and conditions which govern workforce
- Delivery of change within People function Coaching experience
- Delivery of service improvement within People services
- Previous experience in a senior Workforce role in the public sector (desirable)
Aptitude (essential):
- Evidence of analytical reasoning and effective decision-making skills
- Highly developed communication skills, written and verbal
- Effective influencing, negotiating and consultation skills Strategic awareness of UK/NHS Wales issues
- Strategic thinking and contextual understanding of NHS Workforce issues
- IT literacy and standard keyboard skills
- Self-motivated and resilient Evidence of effective leadership skills, teambuilding skills and ability to develop others
- Effective interpersonal and influencing skills Ability to negotiate and build alliances
- Ability to facilitate the capability and development of people skills in line managers.
